Public health jobs all across America help in improving the lives of the citizens of America but exactly what is public health? Public health is defined by many as the field of science dedicated to protecting the health of the public and making individual health better. Those that have public health jobs do this in a variety of ways including increasing the store of information on health and educating others on public health concerns and safety practices. Public health jobs are essential to the well being of many individuals and are an important part of life in America. Many public health jobs are dedicated to analyzing human genetics as well as the environment in hopes of improving the health of people overall. Emergency medical services have many standard safety rules and regulations in order to ensure the best care for the public in times of emergency. Training and education are a major part of the public health initiative that ensures that everyone that holds one of the many public health jobs has the right knowhow to assist in emergency situations. This training and education is done by state mandated health professionals that are certified to teach and practice in the public health field. This ensures that everyone is trained in the correct practices and public health training in this manner is the best way to make sure that a trainee knows exactly what to do in an emergency.
