Maternal and Child Health
Infants and preschool children through age six may attend free Child Health Conferences. A pediatrician and public health nurse provide: physical exams; immunizations; lead and TB screenings; booster immunizations for school-age children. Clinics are held at the Hamilton Health Department - call 890-3884 for information or an appointment.
The Women, Infants & Children (WIC) Program offers food supplements and nutrition counseling to qualified pregnant and breastfeeding women, their infants and children under age five. Eligibility is based on income and nutritional need. Call WIC 989-3483 for more information.
