WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP
OFFICES HAVE MOVED
Several Washington Township municipal offices have moved effective October 24, 2005, due to the need to remediate mold in the basement and repair leaks in the heating, ventilating and air-conditioning system.
The Office of the Municipal Clerk, the Tax Collector and the Finance Office have moved to the police substation at 1201 Washington Boulevard.
The Township Engineer, Planning and Zoning Offices have moved to the Construction Building at 54 Robbinsville-Allentown Road. These offices will continue to house both Public Works and Recreation.
The Township Administrator and the Tax Assessor have moved to the Senior Center, located in the municipal complex at 1117 U.S. Route 130.
The Municipal Court will move following the court session Tuesday evening, October 25. The November 1 court session has been canceled. Court staff will relocate in a temporary facility to be located adjacent to the police station. A temporary courtroom will also be placed at the site, although some court sessions may occur in another municipality until the temporary courtroom is approved. Please check this Web site for updates concerning municipal court and operating hours of the violations bureau.
Voters who use the polling place in the municipal building will vote at the library, located within the same complex, on November 8.
